Car history:

This car was totally disassembled, and most parts are new or have been rebuilt. I rebuilt the stock frame and modified the suspension for modern handling on the road.

The following is a list of specifics concerning this Corvette:

Sold as a convertible only (white soft top). No hardtop.
Beautiful body with Dupont Chroma series paint. GM brilliant red pearl metallic and Cadillac white diamond coves. Polyester primed, blocked, then sealed and painted. Wet sanded and buffed to a very smooth, deep show car finish. Slight wear condition.
All chrome is replated original or new.
Engine is new GM ZZ4 350/355 H.P.. March serpentine belt system. 1-wire 100 AMP alternator. Edelbrock dual quad intake manifold. Performer 500 CFM carburetors with electric choke. Mallary electric fuel pump with low oil pressure shut off. K&N billet fuel filter(underhood) and fram spin-on fuel filter(on frame). GM high energy ignition system. 2.5 inch Ram Horn exhaust manifolds, aluminized off road exhaust. Moon Eyes finned valve covers. Billet specialties oil cap, pcv valve and breather. Many, extra chrome parts under hood.
Be cool aluminum radiator and over flow tank. 16 inch electric cooling fan.
Richmond Gear Super T-10 4 speed transmission. Hurst performance shifter.
G.M. differential / 3.70 positraction. Rear stabilizer bar and strut rods.(as on later Solid Axle Vettes).
Jim Meyer front suspension. Adjustable shocks and front disc brakes. Stainless steel brake lines.
15 inch leather steering wheel and Flaming River steering column.
Cragar Mag wheels.
New gas tank.
Vintage Air "cool only" air conditioning.
Dakota Digital cruise control.
Power windows.
New Al Knoch seats, dash pad, door panels, and carpet.
All wiring in car is new.
New Custom Auto sound radio and power antenna.
Third brake light on rear license plate frame.
This car was built to drive and compete at car shows. It is fast, but drives very nicely. The exhaust sounds good, but won't give you a headache. The custom front suspension and the new rear springs makes for a comfortable ride. When you arrive at car shows expect lots of attention and awards. In the six years I have shown this vette it has won 27 times including 1st place, Best of Show and People's Choice awards. The car has appeared on Chicago TV stations, in local papers, national Corvette magazines and it has been the subject of a feature article. The latest award was the 'Home Built Heaven" prize given by a national street rod organization. All this and it's 50th birthday celebration ready!
